Welcome to our Inti Sisa Guesthouse, your home away from home located in the small village of Guamote in the center of the Ecuadorian Andes. It’s location, halfway between Cuenca and Quito makes it an ideal place to stop and visit. And not only to rest one’s head, but also to experience authentic Andean life by visiting the weekly Thursday market, visiting surrounding communities and the Chimborazo volcano. Our lovely staff will make sure you feel at home during your time in our comfortable guesthouse.
Guesthouse
The Inti Sisa Art Guesthouse has 23 rooms with private bathroom, a local kitchen and cozy fireplaces. We opened our hotel in order to fund our community projects and it is a great way to enjoy a stay in the indigenous town of Guamote.
Our foundation
Inti Sisa is a non-profit foundation that organizes workshops in Guamote. We run a thriving educational center where we teach computer, sewing, music and English classes, plus we have a kindergarten with over 40 toddlers.
